About:
I Surrender is a GTA V (ScripthookV.Net) script allowing you to surrender to police when wanted. You can either give up to the police without them shooting you or just clear your wanted level altogether (you cheater).
A list of potential keybindings can be found here or to disable a binding (e.g. the clear wanted option) set it to None. Modifiers allowing key combinations can be set to Alt, Control, Shift or None.
Controller support available using a combination of buttons which can be disabled by setting to None.

Using with trainers:
Certain trainer scripts will reset your player back to Michael, Trevor, or Frankin. To prevent this, you will need to change the settings for the trainer in question.
Simple Trainer:
In order to prevent model reset on wasted and crash on busted, change the following value in the trainer.ini file:
OverrideLoopFix=1
Menyoo:
To prevent changing on busted/wasted, either turn off Reset player model on death in the menu and save the settings or edit menyooConfig.ini setting the following value:
DeathModelReset = false
Note: Menyoo will re-apply the model after respawn so if you do not change this, you will see Michael for a few seconds after respawn.
Enhanced Native Trainer / PC Trainer:
There does not appear to be a way to disable such a feature in ENT. You seem to always spawn at the hospital regardless. The same with PC Trainer - I cannot find a way to disable the change character feature.
Other trainers:
Check the settings file or menu to see if it is possible to turn the feature of changing model on respawn off - unfortunately there are a few trainers that do not allow this.

Redux is just a visual overhaul if I recall so shouldn't cause an issue.
Do you have any other scripts in the scripts folder and do they work?
Are you using the latest scripthookv and scripthookv.net?
Have you changed any of the keybindings in the .ini file?
@waynieoaks I got a couple of questions I'm curious about. I usually bind keys to my controller for all mods, I don't like using the keyboard at all, now let's say I bind a controller button to "Surrender" and I accidentally press it without having a wanted star, will the mod activate even though there isn't a wanted star or it only activates with at least one star on? Also, let's say I do get a wanted star but, cops are nowhere in sight yet, if I press the button to activate the surrender, would the character I'm using put his hands up and surrender even if the cops are not there yet, because that would be kind of stupid doing that prematurely.

Q1: It will only activate if you are wanted. If not wanted, nothing will happen.
Q2: Unfortunately, yes it will put your hands up if the cops are not there yet as I have not put in any logic to detect how far the cops are from you. BUT you can press the button again to put your hands back down and cancel your surrender.

@waynieoaks i think Redux could be the problem bc it also changes dispatch.meta, anyway i waasn't using any other script and i tried using other scripts and they work so scripthook and .NET are fine
Will have to try with Redux if I get the time - see if that is what's causing the issue.

Great mod. Works like a charm for me.
I just wish there was a way to make the cops not to shoot you unless, you treat them somehow, even with 2 or 3 stars. Level 1 cops are perfectly balanced, but them they go immediately into level 2 and start shooting you even if didn't do anything.

Hi - Thank you - I am trying to work out what is causing this to not work with Redux, but need a fresh install to get Redux in with just my mod to see what is happening. (am afraid it may take time because of work etc.)
I currently am using Redux and the mod works just fine. I am surrendering against 5 stars using Charmander Addon Ped.
Not using redux but I can't surrender either
Might be because Im using world of variety and a ai enhancer mod? Im not too sure whats causing the issue
