dude this is pretty sweet, I was an auto locksmith for some years, this gives more realism because in truth most cars these days you cant just break a window and open the door XD also consider an immobiliser bypass because the most unrealistic thing about GTA to me is that you only have to break a window to drive a car away, the reality is, it would never happen on a modern car. You could create an immo bypass script and even have multiple purchasable immo bypass machines for stealing different vehicles.

Well I found a bug tha kinda fix my problem: if you kick the door and the window breaks, you can open it from the outside and skipp the lockpicking

This is pretty cool, though I feel a tad too easy, as that other guy said above, having varying difficulty levels depending on the car (or probably going with 'car types' would require much less work) would make it more enjoyable overall (with not only smaller green areas, but also a limited number of fails until you have to start over and the car's alarm goes off or something of the likes, or even instantly get one star)
I also love the idea behind having to break the glass to skip it, though I have to do it manually using melee or a gun because the Q key doesn't seem to do anything for me either

Though I seem to have a problem getting inside ANYTHING that isn't a car?
I have a bunch of mods installed (though nothing that should interfere with this mod, the only ones that are even related to cars/vehicles are SPRG, deluxe motorsports and a couple trainers like menyoo and simple trainer), but when I remove this mod then everything works normally, but with it installed I can't get on motorbikes or inside some airplanes/helicopters (mission ones seem to work fine though)

also personally I'd prefer if the folder was named same as the dll so LockPicking instead of first 'Okoniewitz'

Mod works well, but I recently was troubleshooting some performance issues and when I remove this mod I gain about 5-10 fps. Anyone else seeing that or is it just me? (this is with a gameconfig that increases traffic, vanilla seems fine)

@dimedius Not just you, I have fps issues with this as well, dropped my 1% lows down to about mid-30s and on average around 10-15 fps. It's a shame but I'll have to refrain from using this.
To be fair, you can only ever blame these fps issues on Rockstar's shitty attitude towards the single player version and how little they care for game engine updates/optimizations.

can you just make the option like this "press f to break as I dont like the idea to use Q to get in without pick lock it and just hold F to lock pick"

Not sure if it's a me problem but this doesn't seem to work for me with 1.54. It worked flawlessly for me the last time I was playing around with it but now when I go to press F it just smashes the window.

@DonBalejo Thats how the vanilla game works for some reason if you break the window before entering your character just skips the animation
