Hey guys, got another fun one for you.
The rich YouTuber trend has finally his Los Santos! I present to you Colored Chrome Paint!
Ever wish you could have more colors besides the plain "Chrome" in the game? Now you can!
*Update 1.1: Added Chrome Gold
This mod replaces the last 13 colors of the Matte section in LS Customs.
Here's a list of the colors;
Gold
White
Black
Electric Blue
Mint Green
Lime Green
Yellow
Golden Shower
Orange
Red
Pony Pink
Hot Pink
Purple
Blacklight
Detailed instructions and color replacement list are in the readme!
Future plans:
-Replace "worn" colors instead of matte, but you can only access through a trainer.
Notes:
-The colors only show up on the surfaces of the car facing the sun. Dunno why, just the way the game handles chrome. Probably why R* didn't do it in the first place.
-Does not work on wheels! I know I'll get asked this, but as of right now I can't find any way to do it. The wheels have a set finish, so even applying the chrome paint ID's through a trainer doesn't make them chrome. Sorry.

is there something wrong with this chrome in the sun? here let's say set yellow, and you leave the workshop you look from a different angle, it is normal
@Igor 199999 Yup. It's in the description. For some reason if you look at the panels of the car facing away from the sun, or if you're in an open area and there's nothing reflecting on the paint, the color gets washed out. It was challenging to get the colors right for this mod because chrome is just weird in this game, I dunno why.
@camismacho really good idea bro!! btw could you make a colour-customizable LED headlight pls XD with tht mod plus your colored chrome, tht makes perfect!

@camismacho actually this can be achieved without sacrifice matte color, all you needed to do was chrome + RGB color
