DESCRIPTION
This mod will change your Subtitle font size.
In my opinion the subtitle font size in GTAV looks awfully big. it may looks good on 720p resolutions or in Console TV monitor, but for Full HD resolution and or above in PC, it looks awful and take too much space.
that's why i made this simple mod.
INSTALLATION
Put Frontend.xml in Update > Update.rpf > Common > Data > Ui
CUSTOMIZABLE
you can change the size however you want. here's the step:
>open the frontend.xml file with wordpad
>press CTRL & H, search "subtitle"
>change "sizeX" and "sizeY" to what you like
>Save the file and then put it in the directory mentioned above using OIV
TIPS
the default size of the font is:
X: 1.0
Y: 0.167
if you want to change the size correctly, try my way:
>use Microsoft Paint (or any software that could generate canvas with custom resolution)
>press "resize", choose pixel, uncheck "maintain aspect ratio" and change the canvas size to 1000 x 167, press OK
>press "resize" again, this time make sure to check the "maintain aspect ratio", change the "1000" to whenever the size you want. smaller than 1000 will make the font smaller vice-versa.
>edit the result to the frontend.xml file. make sure to change it (for example if you change from 1000 x 167 to 800 x 133, change it to 0.8 and 0.133 in the frontend.xml file)
>try it
