The FAL, a French acronym for Fusil Automatique Léger, is a battle rifle designed by Belgian small arms designer Dieudonné Saive and manufactured by FN Herstal. During the Cold War, the FAL was adopted by many North Atlantic Treaty Organization countries, with the notable exception of the United States.
Features:
• Fully Animated
• Working Collision Data
• Attachment Compatible
• 2K Textures
Please note:
The iron sights don't line up due to the weapon not having a carry handle. The scope attachments also do not work when aiming down sights in first person, but they are attached correctly. Animations work decently well. The weapon does have minor clipping but that's it.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024x1024 or 1024x512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren't, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.
