- The missile has fully automatic and realistic altitude gain and Top-Attack Mode 🥳🎉 thanks to @WarDaddy91 😊😊🎉 Just fire towards the target like a real Javelin.
- The Direct-Attack Mode still works somehow, although the missile will automatically climb up to match altitude with aircraft now, no longer direct flight to pre-calculated point.
- A custom Javelin CLU Visor, thanks to @WarDaddy91 😊😊
- It is not advisable to engage at planes. Missile will most likely to fall behind.
--- Instructions Manual & Limitations ---
- First and foremost, this isn't Call of Duty MW. I did what I could do without even able to use script. Was asked paid service from some script devs but they never returned.
- Lock-On and Fire&Forget.
- Has 2 stage propulsion.
- Do not do straight forward dump fires. The missile requires to be locked on to a target, that's how Javelin is...
- I had to retract the stabilizing fins cuz they were clipping through the launcher itself 😥 The only way would be changing the missile model after it being launched, but I don't know is it even possible 🥺😥
--- Efficiency Rates ---
- Highly effective against slow/fast moving ground/aquatic vehicles.
- Best used against armored targets, it's overkill and 80 thousand $$$ taxpayer money waste if you fire at light transports. ( But have fun too 😅😂 )

--- Effective Ranges ---
- Medium-Long distance ground/aquatic vehicles ; Will activate Top Attack mode
- Medium distance rotary wing aircraft (helicopters) ; Will switch to Direct Attack mode
- Fast mover aircraft (propeller or jet engine planes) ; It is not advisable to engage!
- Ineffective at Short distance against ground/aquatic vehicles (May cause unintended effects).
- Terminal attack phase doesn't always necessarily has to be 80-90 degree. It can be as low as 60 degree, this is quite normal and how a Javelin works in real life.
- Miiiigghtt overshoot the target in some cases, especially if the target is below effective range. Don't worry though, it will still acquire it at terminal attack phase.

Add-On Version;
Place this to designated locations;
FGM148Javelin >> mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
Then edit the dlclist.xml in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data;

- Add-On spawn name: WEAPON_FGM_148_JAVELIN
Replace Version;
Place these to designated locations;
FGM148Javelin_Replace >> mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
and
weaponhominglauncher.meta >> mods\update\update.rpf\dlc_patch\mpchristmas2\common\data\ai
Then edit the dlclist.xml in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data;

Surprised you can install Replace version as a dlcpack too instead of copying the entire vanilla dlcpack?

Is it possible to speed up the capture of the target. It seems to me that the capture of the target lasts longer, unlike standard settings. It’s just that for a long time it has a goal for a long time, then the object is already close to you.

@Dima4887 Sure, it's the TimeBeforeHoming value, as in seconds. I was increased it since it takes roughly 4 to 5 seconds for Javelin CLU to acquire a target lock. Because the imaging sensor has to isolate the intended target from environment, which takes about that much. (Might be slightly quicker in new Lightweight CLU but don't know much about it).
You can decrease this value in weapon_fgm_148_javelin.meta to acquire a faster target lock. Thank you so much for the 5 stars by the by 😊😊😇

@MissySnowie @WarDaddy91 Hi. Hello, thank you very much for the mod, very impressive. I want to ask you, a long time ago I downloaded such a javelin on this site https://launcherleaks.com/file/5240-sinpie-javelin/. It has one interesting feature: the character holds the javelin by the computer handles and seems to be looking into it. Could you do the same with your javelin?

I actually did make the character hold weapon from the CLU's handles but unfortunately it doesn't fit for every character because of skeleton differences ( https://i.imgur.com/asu6xBk.png ). If you wish you can tell me which character you using and I can adjust it for him/her. But it only works from the right side of the handle 🥺🥺
For the looking through the CLU, I guess he achieved that by moving the CLU towards the middle of launcher tube and increased the size, so it stays in front of character's face.
I can try doing that as well, want to also change the shader of visor and missile's IR too so they have mirror like look instead of dull color 😊

Just a little suggestion: Can you change the weapon file name to "weapon_javelin" for a shorter name without three underscores?

@Daddynnoob Sure but no need to wait for update for it, it's easy to do withing the meta files. But either way, I recommend adding the weapon to Menyoo's Favorites instead of manually spawning it every time. Makes things much more easier.
