Presenting: The Volvo 850 R
From the 90’s straight to the streets of Los Santos!
The Volvo 850 is one of the safest station wagons produced by Volvo in 1994-1996.
While it might seem like your driving your kids to baseball practice, we all know you just want to speed the highway up and down.
And who can blame you? With it typical boxy design of the 90s it’s perfect to run over bikers and kick off bicyclists.
After all, the biggest car owns the street. And now you can too!
Add-On and replace version available. Working wipers and vibrating exhaust.
When using the Add-On version you’ll get the standard color options just like the real 850R (Bright Red, Polar White, Stone Black, Green Olive Pearl, Turquoise Pearl and the rare “Platinum Edition”)
The “Platinum Edition” was a limited Silver version made in 1996 with only limited quantity imported to the US.
So for those that have a custom popcycle and add this Volvo to spawn in traffic, go hunting for the rare Silver colorway.
This Volvo 850R also has 3 extras:
- A cute little moose sticker on the trunk (To show some extra love to the swedes for this great car)
- A funny “Baby on Board” sticker on the rear Window (It’s a family wagon after all)
- Volvo’s 850 station wagon roof rails

Someone makes Volvo's cars, I am glad. 5 stars.
But the rims looks too small. And the logo of the steering wheel should be black.

850 T-5R (and maybe TT5/R?) badging when?!
Just tried it, even the KITT.NET Scanner works great on it!
Wheels are a bit on the small side for Volans though.

I'm glad you like it!! Not sure what KITT.NET is, so I can't comment on that..
And yes, more variant/badging is planned for the future and two are coming soon (Family oriented 850 GLT and the 850 AWD / both wagons). Also there will be a sedan in the near future too :)

@Rstein Sadly yes :( See, the honest truth is, I can't make 3D models myself. My releases (and planned releases) have been in partnership. I purchased the unedited 3D models of premium sites [if applicable] and my modding partner did the fixes from raw 3D file to a GTA 5 compatible model (which I also compesated with patreon donations). I did the testing, quality checking and in-game stuff and edits to certain files (Like carvariations, making sure GTA functions like random plates work etc.) and research of data to keep it as realistic as possible. Since 2017 not much happend and I still have a handful of 80/90s cars I'd love to get in GTA untouched (most are wagons or minivan types). Since most modders are focus on modern and/or sports cars, I don't expect to find a partnership like that any time soon... In part this apology also goes out to others that commented with ideas for great cars from 90s and older. After four years of delays and having the models just sitting in my file system, I don't expect to there to be any release soon (or someone willing to go into a "3D modeling" partnership like back then.
