It was supposed to "show them how it's done" ("them" being Rockstar and Bethesda mainly) by being a futuristic, improved version of GTA/Fallout, with proper physics, advanced AI, next-gen graphics and optimization, a good story, a big map like The Witcher, etc. but instead we got Physics, Animations and AI comparable to 2010 games' (or worse in some cases), average-looking graphics with awful optimization, a somewhat boring story that's the same no matter which starter you pick, and a map that's hardly larger than GTA V's. And what bugs me the most is not how glitchy it is, but how long we waited for it and how hyped they had us.

P.S. It's also hard to mod, just like The Witcher. Doesn't look like it's ever getting even close to having as many mods as games like GTA, Skyrim or Fallout. They failed in pretty much every aspect.
