@Temporery oh those are all super out of date, but you can try this: go into the ytd file, and any textures that have dxt5 as the texture compression, right click them, click properties, and change the compression to A8R8G8B8
@Temporery can you join my discord and @ me? I go by centrai in discord
@Temporery what're you talking about. It only costs $6.
@BadaBopBoom I wouldn't count on it. There's only a couple preset seating positions that are possible. I tried to choose one that limited clipping as much as possible.
@alfiejf03 sorry, the models are locked
@JAKK0 Please join my discord. I help you learn how to convert cars. It's not too bad once you get the hang of it.
The texture loss is typical of spawning in too many cars at once forcing the game to revert to lower lods and even making objects disappear. Is it possible to add an option to display a debug message when a car spawns in? Then I can verify whether or not cars are actually spawning in even when i'm not in range.
@systematic Yeah, I have an up to date gameconfig
Is your distance calculation dot product of the vector difference?
I think there's something wonky going on with the distance calculation. Using a similar method as before, I saved 11 cars, and my textures started disappearing. When leaving the spawn radius, the textures returned, but I would lose textures at different areas across the map as if the cars had spawned back in. The locations that textures would disappear are consistent and repeatable. I think the mod thinks I'm close to the saved cars even if I'm far away in those cases and spawns the cars in.
