@BULLFAYCE install Community Script Hook V .NET 3.6.0-nightly -> Installing this into the game folder did the trick. Wheels, animations and sounds now work for for the steam trains are now working.
Follow the Kitsune instructions and it should work.

Tried 3.1.0 but doesn't seem to work. The pc i'm modding on is very slow. I will have to check later when i get home.
