@N0TTY in a couple of days I will release a new version of all of my mods. That includes a major refactoring of the static collision models to significantly reduce the demand on pools phInstGta and StaticBounds. So please try it again with that version coming in a few days.
Until then you can try the following:
Use OpenIV, go to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\gameconfig.xml and increase these pool sizes to 20000:
phInstGta, StaticBounds, DwdStore
If you already had a higher value for one of them just leave it unchanged.
@AnthraxVirus sorry, I don't know that mod "VisionFive". But the installation and uninstallation of my mods is fairly easy, so please just give it a try and test it on your own.
@Daspaz this mod doesn't add any bags or chairs in that area. Maybe you mean another mod as I couldn't find any floating objects from GTA V itself either.
@21scar I was thinking about creating another mod covering Sandy Shores with palms, cacti, ficus and joshua trees as well as some smaller vegetation. But before starting another project I want to further improve Forests of San Andreas and GTA V Remastered. So I don't want to promise that nor can I give you a date.
@Asher3512 i'm sorry but i won't provide another edition with less trees. I already provide two mods (Forests of San Andreas and GTA V Remastered) in two editions (free and paid/Ultimate). But if you want an edition with less trees because of collisions with other mods please let me know and i will see if i can relocate some trees accordingly.
If you just want a specific area with less or no trees you can do so by removing every asset with the desired prefix. So for example using OpenIV delete every file starting with forests_s_b_ and hi@forests_s_b_ from forests_s.rpf, forests_s_metadata.rpf and forests_s_slod.rpf (located in <GTA V>\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\forest_s\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5). Have a look at overview (South).jpg (in zip archive) to see what area is covered by that prefix.
@caaro17 it will be part of Forests of San Andreas: Revised v4.1 which will be released at the end of January.
@Suzerain001 as of FoSA: Ultimate v4.2 there are no more colliding trees with that mansion (no matter what order you use in your dlclist.xml). Please ensure that you have installed version 4.2.
@MrNewb currently I'm reworking the static collision models to reduce the demand on the pools phInstGta and StaticBounds. I will release that at the end of January.
@Official Rhyz please edit your gameconfig.xml (located in <GTA V>\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data) and increase the following pool sizes:
StaticBounds to 20000
DwdStore to 20000
If it still crashes then please see section "Prerequisites & recommendations" in the description. So if you are using many mods and you are experiencing crashes then you should get a modified gameconfig.xml (https://github.com/pnwparksfan/gameconfig/releases) as well as HeapAdjuster.
@ModzurGTA@TheArtificialPasture i relocated trees in that area so that you can use this mod along with Forests of San Andreas. It will be part of the next release FoSA v4.1
@vardaum the significant performance hit is caused by the mod "Glowing Palms". In fact the author states that you "need a beefy computer to run this high quality mod" (see README.txt inside "Glowing Palms v3.0.rar").
Furthermore that mod replaces small palms by big ones (simply reusing the medium palms for small ones). This results in a more densed but less diversified palm vegetation.
For instance, the original model prop_palm_sm_01a is 8 meters tall and with that mod it is the same model as prop_palm_med_01b with a height of 28 meters (3.5 times taller).
So both of your complaints are actually caused by the mod "Glowing Palms".
Please check out my mod without "Glowing Palms" and reconsider your rating. It seems a bit curious that you rate my mod with 3 stars and at the same time you give the mod which actually relates to your complaints 5 stars.
