Anyone else having trouble getting this mod to work since the latest update? I have been able to get all my other mods to work, and even tried re-downloading this one, but pressing F8 has no effect on the Wanted levels in Restricted Areas.
@Knife it doesn't make people stupid because they didn't check that site every ten seconds. Why do so many people on the Internet have to be so unnecessarily rude? (Downloading now. Thanks Alex!!!)
Really, @wonjin1009? We were all hoping that Alex NEVER updates the script so that mods will never again work in GTA V. But your plan sounds okay, too, I guess.
@MikeBubs There have been surprisingly few. Really only a couple of impatient n00bs. The majority of people in here know the score, are willing to wait, and are grateful to Alex Blade for all his hard work,
@jsommons27 all of this I agree with. All I was saying is that the folks here are discussing it and there are new people walking into the conversation all the time, but 99% of everyone is just waiting patiently, and checking this page every so often. I have seen ridiculously impatient people on the Internet lol That was my only point.
@jsommons27, most of the people here are being VERY patient. Just discussing how to get their games running or making inquiries if they haven't been here. The truly mystifying thing is (and I mean no offense by this) its you guys acting a little hostile and accusing people here of having "no lives" that are the only ones coming off as impatient. Think about it!
@JakeThePlayerYT nobody is really getting mad. Besides, Alex doesn't seem like that kind of a guy. I am sure it will be launched as soon as Alex finishes it. Remember that this update has HUGE content, so it could be that the update for Alex's Scripthook V may be a lot ore work than previous updates. Plus, its only been a day. Alex probably has a job, family....and a life.
@Imadz, I would completely agree with you except that most people aren't whinging and complaining. They are just inquiring about it and some are teaching one another work-arounds to get their game running. Actually people are being really patient with this. We all know Alex is AWESOME for doing this. Only a very few people are complaining.
@Mikedaone818 I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game so I could at least continue with my 100% save campaign. I know there are ways around it, like firewalls or backing up a copy of your old GTAV exe files, but I neglected to do any of that. Oh well. lol I can play the un-modded game now. I am sure Alex will get to this when he can. In the meantime, we still have the Vanilla game. On the other hand, if I were you, I would hold off on uninstalling and reinstalling. Because I was out all day yesterday, so it was no burden to just uninstall the game and have Steam download it again. I got home and it was done, so I never skipped a beat. However, in your case, you could get caught with your pants down if Alex updates Scripthook V while you are in the middle of reinstalling or re-downloading. So you should probably wait it out. ;)
