Mod Description
--------------------------------------------------
Hide In Dumpsters lets you quickly hide inside dumpsters while wanted to avoid police detection. Walk up to a supported dumpster, hold the enter input, and your character climbs into hiding with a full blackout-style dumpster view. While hidden, you can stay fully concealed or slightly peek out through the lid opening to watch the area.
This mod is built around escaping police searches. If you enter a dumpster during the police search phase, staying fully hidden keeps you concealed, while peeking can expose you again if officers get close enough. The script also restores you cleanly back to your original entry spot when you exit the dumpster.
so how it actually works. i wrote the script so that it only works if your already out of sight of cops and get in to a dumpster (police are searching for you) if they have line of sight or (stars are solid) they will know where you are. if you run out of sight (stars flashing) and get into a dumpster, they will continue to search.. if you peek and they are right on top of you... well they are going to see you... (i tried to make it most realistic as possible really)

@vincemeister55 hey , so youd be the first one to test if out if you choose, youd just have to make sure you have the scripthookvdotnet i have i linked in the description along with the minhook file thats included, to have any chance, but theres a good chance it will work. let me know if you try it

@vincemeister55 @DonDonny i can confirm it works on Legacy. However, the view i get once inside the dumpster is of the inside of the dumpster... when i move the stick around i get a view facing the dumpster, not looking out from the inside.

@O-MATIX hmmm , sorry so when you get in, its the veiw of the inside , but when you look around its from the outside facing the dumpster... so what i have happening is when you enter, it saves that location, put you inside invisible, and turns your player around so it looks out the opposite way you came looking in--- so something in legacy seems to be getting screwed up within there and not keeping your player inside. ---- does this happen with every camera view??? when you cycle the cams does it stay locked outside? does it only happen when moving the camera?? --if so the ui isnt writing the blackness, and isnt keeping your player inside while looking --- if you could get back to me with those details ill do some digging on my end

the functionality of the script works great, it's only the view that is compromised.

@O-MATIX brother thank you so much for that video, so in enhanced the inside of these objects are see through,--- a couple of the shots you had there were definatly inside , but unfortunatly in this case the objects themselves arent see through in your game :( --- i honestly gotta look into this more and try and figure out a work around
