Gear shifting animation with shifting sounds for vehicles and bikes, inspirated by Hunks old mod which sadly doesn't work anymore.
Features (configurable through the ini file)
-Gear Shifting Animation for vehicles and bikes
-Compatibility with Manual Transmission by ikt (Automatic detection)
If you use it with ManualTransmission, you must have the latest version(5.5.1)
-Compatibility with different Gearboxes(bike and vehicle): Automatic, Sequential, H-Pattern (Only with ManualTransmission)
-Automatically detectable RHD/LHD and automatically changing shift animation(Full credit goes to ikt for sharing his code with me)
-Left and Right hand wheel Compatibility/Shifting Animations
-Shifting Sounds for each vehicle gear
-Shifting Sounds for the motorcycle gears
-Sound will be louder in first person than in other view modes
-Current gear text and Manual Transmission information text

@Didier1204 what do you mean "disconnects"? Tell your problem detailed so I can help you.
@Burkiolmi I found the error log that happened after the scene of Mik's funeral at the start of the game "[02:06:56] [ERROR] The exception was thrown while executing the script ShiftAnim.
[02:06:56] [WARNING] Aborted script ShiftAnim."

@Didier1204 No idea why it disconnects, but reloading the script after the mission will fix your problem.
This might be a stretch, but do you think it is also possible to make an animation for behind the steering wheel shifters? it can be no animation at all, I'm thinking maybe an in-game toggle-off option, that way I can switch it off manually if I am driving a Ferrari for example, and still be able to play manual gear. I wish you appreciate the feed back, I'm not trying to be annoying :p
Works well but seems to occasionally crash the game when downshifting quickly, I've tried it with the latest version of ikt's Manual Transmission mod
Works great only one thing, after a while (or after being in a RHD Car, haven't troubleshooted) it completely stops working for LHD Cars? Tried refreshing scripts to no avail really confused??? Need to restart game to reset. Is it possible that it could be clashing with a fuel script I have installed? (Fuel Reloaded 3.1.1)
this mod conflicts with any mod from @hunk I think its the Naudio he bundles with his mod, hope you can fix it, thanks
amazing i'm going to update it, the only problem is : if u have accident and get thrown through window the mod stop working next , and can't be restarted until restart

I'm with the latest SHV (1.0.2699.16) and SHVDN (3.5.1) version... BUT the game version is still in 1.0.2545.0.
I've tried with the 1.0.2545.0 version of SHV but nothing changes.
Except that every mods and scripts work, even the Manual Transmission mod by ikt.
Any help of anyone will make me very grateful!
You can't turn the camera In first person, the camera resets everytime a transmission takes place. plsss fix this.

Does not work with Manual Transmission Mod. After installing the Mod Gear Shifting Animation, nothing happens, the player does not move when driving.
Should make a mod that adds the animation where your character sways to left or to the right when sitting in a car while turning from GTA IV
@Burkiolmi is there a way to fix the shifting animation with most female peds players? the male peds animations are fine (even some specific female ped have the correct animation ie. female bodybuilder, Paige Harris) but most female peds shift their gears on the steering wheel which bothers me if I want to do some role play..pls do some update :( I really like this mod, enhances the immersion.
I want to disable the motorcycle one and keep the car one on. you shift a motorcycle with your foot, not with your right hand, like what?
