--Niko Bellic Ped--
The original add-on ped.
Niko Bellic is back! Fresh from the gloomy streets of Liberty City, He has finally arrived in Los Santos!
--How to Install--
1. Create a mods folder, then create an update folder inside of that.
2. Copy the vanilla update.rpf (GTAV/update/) to your update folder inside of mods (GTAV/Mods/Update/)
3. Drag and drop the update folder from the Niko files into mods/update/
4. Open up OpenIV and enable Edit Mode.
5. Open up the update.rpf in mods/update/ and place dlclist.xml and gameconfig.xml in common/data/ within the RPF.
6. Download Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster (links listed below) and use the .INI files provided with this mod.
7. To spawn Niko, use the "spawn by model name" option in a trainer and input player_niko. Menyoo is currently buggy with this mod. Simple Trainer by Sjaak works best at the moment.
8. Enjoy!

I believe this is more or less the final version of the mod. Going forward I will primarily be focusing on keeping it working on new game builds or improving performance. I do still want to fix crashing with other tools or overhaul mods. Thank you all for playing with the mod and I hope it will continue to bring people enjoyment!

Stopped working after the last two updates (i think). Says it's an invalid model but it's installed properly.
@legbot124 I think the same thing, the installation mode is poorly explained.
Most of the issues I'm seeing reported appear to be more of an issue on the operator's side rather than the mod's fault.
So long as you installed the mod properly, using the "spawn by model name" option in your preferred menu should work. If the mod doesn't work but the game still loads, you installed it incorrectly. If you installed the mod and it crashes, you're missing either the gameconfig, the required adjuster ASIs, or all of them.
This mod requires limit adjustments as it is a massive character add-on that is admittedly old, unfinished, and most importantly bursting with content. I started the project back in 2015 and currently have no plans of updating it further. It should work fine on future updates IF the limit adjusters are used.
how i create a nb entry on dlclist?

@Makavelii200 This mod is not longer in development and as such I will not be offering any support. I have included a simple tutorial within the files of the mod and in the description. If this mod no longer works on new builds of the game then there really isn't much I can do. I don't have the time to work on mods anymore. I learned everything on my own and I'm sure others have too, so it's not impossible to get this working.
@Capanga Sounds like you're using DLC weapons. Use a DLC file unlocker.
@gameplazer Because he's not meant to replace Trevor. Follow the installation instructions correctly if you want the mod to work correctly.

Does this mod come with niko load screen art? I keep seeing niko when the game loads it’s really cool, I’m wondering if it’s due to this or a different mod

As @FoodSandwich said in his comment, the game does work perfectly when using the gameconfig.ini from https://github.com/pnwparksfan/gameconfig/releases
Also when using Simple Trainer by Sjaak, editing the ini file to add a custom model in the //Added Peds// section. Just enable one of the slot and have ModelName1=player_niko !
@theNGclan i fixed johnny klebitz' cutscene model it has facial anims cutscene and in game an more compatibility
