Good work man, I had a similar problem with transparent glass but actually if you put the original texture it will be the same (So it's not the texture, idk if it is a specular or normal map problem, but it's not diffuse map)

Or idk if it is a format problem, GTA uses different types of .DDS files, ATI2, DXT5, DXT1. So try to use different type of DDS fles, if normal maps or spec maps are not the problem,

@Morrice Dont. .DDS files cant save transparent images. Save the texture as a .PNG (they can save transparent images). Then import it using OpenIV. :-)
