For Panico Total's MQ-101 Drone. Paint for Generic 2 Circle Roundel, (Gray, Green, Tan), Generic 3 Circle Roundel (Gray, Green, Tan) Brazil, Egypt, France, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Pakistan, PLAAF, RAAF, RAF, RCAF, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, and USAF
Here https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mq-101-air-combat-drone-add-on
You can also extract the paint you want and replace the m101_00_D.dds in Panico Total's huge Drone Carrier, https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/drone-carrier-add-on-v1-0. (I will probably do some paint for the Drone Carrier shortly.)
Once installed with their instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mq101\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\mq101.ytd
If you replace the paint in the Drone Carrier, it will be here:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\dronecarrier\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\dronecarrier.ytd
If you wish to retain the original livery, while in OpenIV, extract the file mq101.ytd. I typically extract the original .ytd to the same folder as the dlc.rpf and rename it to orig_mq101.ytd.
When ready to overwrite, toggle "Edit mode", top right button edit mq101.ytd. Then rename m101_d.dds to m101_dOrig, then chose the paint you'd like to use and rename that paint to m101_d.dds. For example, m101_dIndonesia to m101_d.
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the mq101.yft or mq101_hi.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV and spawn mq101 with the trainer of your choice.
I've included my work file, in case you'd like to use it as the starting point for your own paint.
Enjoy,
Gillman
