This is a basic modification that changes up the life of the airport in order to make it busier. Those of you who played the previous gen versions of GTA V will know how lifeless the PC version is in comparison. This modification will bring back some of the previous elements such as multiple plane takeoffs and lots of buses and taxis spawning around the hotels. It will also add a few more spawn points for parked aircraft and ground vehicles, as well as make the overall terminal and metro station areas have busier crowds.
This modification requires no special map loading scripts or menus and is a simple scenario file replacement. Just drag, drop and play.
There are no known bugs with this modification, the only thing that I will mention is on the rare occasion, you may hear an explosion where a plane has fallen through the ground, as the runways are sometimes not solid for vehicles when far away.
INSTALLATION
Move the following files to:
los_santos_international_airport.ymt & lsia_terminal.ymt: Mods > update > update.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > scenario
lsia_carpark1.ymt, lsia_carpark2.ymt & ng_planes_south.ymt: Mods > x64a.rpf > levels > gta5 > scenario
Have fun!

A lot of previous gen stuff got scrapped from the next gen and PC versions, I have no idea why. This is one, as well as Rockstar fucking the Dispatch.meta file so only one police car out of the like 4 spawns in Los Santos.
@CGTNVC its very time consuming and a pain to get them to taxi to the gates, especially with all the equipment lying around, just making it more difficult.
@Reacon, @KekAnTing, OK. But do you mind try editing the scenario in this way:
1. Use the original LSIA. ymt
2. Change the jet Which takes off in the south works as a every-time event.
3. Change the landing shamal into jet.
Can you please try making it or teach me how to do it by CodeWalker?
@KekAnTing i'm using it, very good is not a dead place anymore, i asked because i never wanted to play the 360 version of it, i have but never played, 30fps headache
@CGTNVC Please see a reply from before "due to technical reasons, the planes are unable to taxi around the runway since they will fall through the floor when the player is far away, causing multiple explosion sounds frequently during gameplay. The Jet's spawn distance value is far greater than that of the taxiway collision, so they have to stick to the runways, which remain solid at a far distance. I made them take off again since it would be pointless to make them stop, as after the first set have arrived no more would spawn and the airport would become lifeless again with no planes actively moving."
The small planes that do taxi only disappear because they reach the end of their path. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it adds to the life if they spawn again. If they didn't disappear, then the airport would be alive until everything reaches the end of its path, then it would all just stop again.
@KekAnTing, OK never mind. And can you try editing the little objects (Some static cars and trailers) at the LSIA? They're really annoying when driving.
@CGTNVC I personally am leaving the general game and its map vanilla, but I think you're able to move props with CodeWalker I haven't tried. Feel free to experiment yourself with that.
@Illusionary yep, and when we finally fix the f game, they put a new dlc and f.... Up with everymod, if GTA V and Online was a separate game, i would be very happy

This mod is awesome. It's exactly what I wanted. I remember seeing last-gen airport on YouTube videos and when I got GTA 5 the airport was empty. I wonder whether it would be possible to increase spawn rate of Jets. I mean after they take off again the airport needs to be refreshed by switching character. I wonder if it could be instead that plane land/take off every 5 minutes or something. Anyways good job!
Ignore thing about 5 minutes, I just noticed that it works and spawns new planes regularly
Finally the airport no longer feels like it's in corona quarantaine anymore.
Planes are not correctly taxing in the Airport resulting in multiple explosions.
This mod is awesome, but the planes frequently crash into each other when taking off or landing. Please update the mod and fix this, because it would be a perfect mod without this issue

Sadly you can't make other plane than jet do this action i tired to add add-on plane on the AIRPORT-PLANE but only jet are allow to take off and landing in this mod :(
can you make it for all the other airfields? awesome mod btw
@KekAnTing been using this mod for a while and it's great, the airport feels more alive now but for some reason planes landing on the north runway and turn left onto the first westbound runway can't actually make the turn and they end up doing a massive loop and crashing into everything. It's not conflicting mods as I tried it on a clean mods folder with only the ng_planes_south.ymt installed and it still happens. Any idea how to fix it? I did try editing the paths in CW but that didn't work either.
How to find the install foder?
This is a really nice mod that is fun and makes LS Airport a little more lively, but unfortunately it is not supported or expanded. Update would have been nice but thanks anyway for the great mod
