NURBURGRING-NORDSCHLEIFE RACE TRACK
It features a Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a much longer Nordschleife "North loop" track which was built in the 1920s around the village and medieval castle
of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains. The north loop is 20.8 km (12.9 mi) long and has more than 300 metres (1,000 feet) of elevation change from its lowest to highest points.
Jackie Stewart nicknamed the old track "The Green Hell".
This is a project i have been working at since 2016, its been more than 2 years now of endless hours, non sleep nights and research to make the track look as close to its
real counter part. It has been constructed using Laser scanned base and re-mapped, edited, remodeled to bring it up to GTA V standards.
The track has the Grand-Prix circuit open and connected with the Nordschleife, featuring the 24h of nurburgring configuration. You can either lap the nordschleife or go for a full track lap.

As of 17/3/2025 Map works fine. To fix the "falling through map" bug you need to edit the content.xml file. Search YouTube for it.

It works fine with previous versions but once i updated GTA, the map just doest appears, any suggestions?

The map works fine in 2025 but I want to move it further away from main island. Although I moved successfully other maps this one after modifying the coordinates with Ymap Ybn mover makes the game fail to load saying game error. Tied several times no luck.
Anyone else tried?
Maybe the author could move the map further East so it doesn't float above the island? like 3km (3000units) would be fine and even lower it to sea level also.

@zaelu I was able to move the track successfully so I could drive on it in the enhanced version, since I couldn’t get the "No Boundary Limits" mod to work. Well, the files that need to be modified are the .ymap and .ybn files.
In the .ymap files, you need to modify the following elements: streamingExtentsMin, streamingExtentsMax, entitiesExtentsMin, entitiesExtentsMax, and position (inside each Item element there is a position).
In the .ybn files, you need to modify the following elements: BoxMin, BoxMax, BoxCenter, SphereCenter, and GeometryCenter.
And that should be enough. I modified the files using scripts. That said, I haven’t been able to move the tracks made by "VSR Kevin"... well, the textures yes, but not the hitboxes.

You say a list of things to modify but I don't know with what?
Also what is the Enhanced Version? The one with GP and Sprint layouts open?
The maps I've managed to move I did with the Ymap Ybn Mover which does all really fast and somewhat automatic. I could open the YBN and YMAP files in OpenIV I think but I don't know what values to change on the things you have mentioned.
For me the "No Boundary Limits" mod works, no crashes etc.
Also I managed to move Lemans, Laguna Seca, Isle of Man and Monaco. I don't know the authors of the mods so I don't know what maps VSR Kevin made.

@zaelu Sorry for not being very clear ^^'.
I've never used "Ymap Ybn Mover", I do it manually with the scripts I've mentioned. Most likely, "Ymap Ybn Mover" modifies the coordinates of the elements I mentioned.
All the elements I mentioned have coordinates (X Y Z), and they need to be modified to move the track. For example, if you subtract 1000 from the X coordinate, the track will get closer to the main island. To move the track, you have to subtract 1000 from all the X coordinates of all the elements I mentioned, and a single file can contain the same element multiple times.
By "enhanced" I mean GTA 5 Enhanced, the one released on March 4th. In that edition (enhanced), I haven't been able to get "No Boundary Limits" to work.
By the way, the X coordinate represents east and west, the Y coordinate is north and south, and the Z coordinate is the height.

Here are the Python scripts https://pastebin.com/cxFqfUqC I think it's pretty clear how to use them. You export the files to XML in a folder, run the script, and then import them back. Easy.

Thank you for your reply. I am pretty old and not a programmer but yes I managed to make it work partially.
What I mean is I managed to move the map exactly where I wanted but not the collisions. Not sure why. I think collisions are controlled by the YBN files (right?) but the map is not having collisions where the map has moved but where the map was!
Could you have an idea what might have gone wrong?
I have found the issue but not solved it yet. The YBN files are actually not processed. The YMAP files are enough to move the map visually but the IBN files are the collisions counterpart. The issues stems from the fact that I export the YBN files as OBN with OpenIV then rename then from OBN to YBN.XML so the script work. The scripts seems to work but not completely or something.
I have done it! It was that poor export as OBN from OpenIV. I thought it doesn't matter but then I read the script better and saw it was looking clearly for coordinates and the OBN format had them without X Y and Z just the values and probably the whole format is different to the point can't be really parsed. So I then tried with Code Walker and it wend smoothly.
